This is my small list of food and drinks that bring the difference here...
 
1. El barraquito o barraco  coffee – served in a glass, consist three layers:  sweet condensed milk espresso and liquer with a bit of cinnamon and lemon skin 







2. Drag's liquer, Honey Rum
3. Viña Norte, red, 2000, Tacaronte
4. Majorero Cheese, goat creamy cheese, the proud of Fuerteventura
5. Honey, some of the honeys  made here use a host of exotic flowers or endemic plants such as Mount Teide broom and tajinaste
6. Mojo - sauces varying in spiciness (most common are red, green and orange)served  as an accompaniment to potatoes, meat and fish
¨A must¨  with mojo are:
 -  Papas Arrugas - Wrinkled Potatos with mojo sauce

-  Vieja (sea bream) with mojo sauce
-  Canarian Chicken with mojo potatoes

7. Vegetable or pork stew with gofio ( flour made mainly from wheat or some  varieties of maize) 
8. Canary watercress soup as the vegetables here are various and delicious the soup is worth it
9. Bienmesabe canario - dessert actually from Gran Canaria really delicios it goeas well with icecream too
10. Arroz con leche
